Christian Louboutin Spring 2013 Collection

We have come to expect nothing less than 'superb' from red sole-spinning designer Christian Louboutin, and this season he exceeds our expectations. Flamboyant in both colour and design, Louboutin paints our Spring 2013 dreams in fluorescent hues, set in patent leather and PVC. Wedge heels take a place in the SS13 catalogue, alongside 5-inch stilettos and pointy-toe sling backs. Animal prints come alive in metallics and monochrome while multi-shades of paint are tie-dyed onto cotton-covered platforms. With no shortage of high-trend glamour, this collection also boasts sexy pairs of spiked and studded pumps. 

 It is the re-interpretation of Mr Louboutin's tried, tested and successful formula of creating elegant heels with a bit of an edge - that will have every celebrity and their stylist eagerly knocking on his door. As for the rest of us mortals who can't spend $1100 on a pair of designer footwear...there is merely drooling over the lookbook. Click the image for a larger view.

  6. How could you not love Louboutins?? Oh how I wish I could affort a pair. Years ago I bought a pair of espadrilles..they were only like $300. I wish those days would come back! Thanks for the fun eye candy!

  16. While some of them are very lovely (i'm not much of a shoe gal...Bagwhore in and reporting for duty)! I honestly don't think I could spend so much on a pair of shoes. It sounds ideal and if you can afford that's your business but I think of what that could do for a local charity or family member and all of a sudden it seems silly to waste that good hard earned money on a pair of shoes I may wear every blue moon!

  36. Hey doll! beautiful pieces of art as always from loubi! loving all of them especially the beige spikes which i saw in store earlier today ! just to die for!
    by the way while i was in the store a lady came to return the second shoes in the middle from the first slide , saying that it scratched her feet so badly from the first half an hour she wore it , unfortunately for her the store manager did not allow any refund or return . That made me wonder is it really that worthy to pay that much for a feet scratching and ruining pair of loubis?

His shoes are always so bright and colorful but I don't think I could walk in very many of them!(Which he admitted in a interview a while back that his shoes were "not for walking but eye candy." I love the first pair of booties in the second set, shoemint actually has a extremely similar pair right now. (Hah and at a fraction of the price, yikes.) I do really like the bright colors in this new collection, they're so pretty to look at!
